Manual Osteopathy is a client-centered approach to health and wellness, guided by principles that recognize each individual as a whole. The inherent drive of the human body to auto-regulate is at the heart of osteopathic work. Manual Osteopathy seeks to find and release primary tensions that prevent an individual from being, feeling and functioning at an optimal level.
Only the hands are used in the service of osteopathy. Your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner has an in-depth understanding of the direct relationship between the structure (anatomy) of the body and function (physiology) of the body.

Osteopathy is provided with the goal of releasing tension mechanisms in the body and facilitating natural, self-healing by promoting autoregulation. Practitioners of Manual Osteopathy recognize that a person’s state of health and wellbeing is the culmination of many life experiences.
